Special Education Resources
Students with special needs receive services as indicated by their Individualized Education Program in classrooms in our school and within our special education cooperative. In addition to our three resource rooms, we have a Life Skills classroom to meet the needs of students who are severely disabled. A full-time Speech Language Pathologist works with students who have needs in those areas.The Boone-Clinton-North West Hendricks Joint Services is a special education cooperative which Clinton Prairie is a member. Through that membership, we are able to provide services to students ages 3 through 21. Joint Services provides psychological evaluations, consultation services, and administrative services related to special education in the six districts. Through the collaboration between Joint Services and Clinton Prairie, services are provided to children with diverse educational needs including the following disabling conditions as outlined in the Indiana Special Education Rules, Article 7:

Child Find helps locate, and evaluate children and youth ages 3 to 22 years of age who are suspected of having or have a diagnosed disability or developmental delay, in order to provide appropriate special education services under the law. Click pdf HERE (113 KB) for more information.
